The CHW’s land planning and urban design team will be in attendance at the 2017 APA Florida Annual Conference. APA Florida is committed to Rising to the Challenge of planning for Florida’s future. The Host Committee has put together a diverse program of speakers, sessions, workshops, and tours designed for learning and inspiration.  There will be mobile tours across the region highlighting the future of commercial space travel, coastal adaptation, historic preservation, and small town revitalization. Special skill sessions will provide in-depth, hands-on experience using planning tools for community resilience and collaborative corridor design. Breakout sessions will cover everything from transportation, small town land planning, environment, redevelopment, economic development, and land planning practice.
