The San Felasco Parkway is the first phase of a new two-lane divided roadway funded by a FDOT grant. Phase one is approximately 7,300 linear feet traversing through unimproved land, and connects CR 241 to Progress Boulevard in Progress Park. Future phases will extend the parkway to the east. The roadway will consist of two 12-foot travel lanes, 7-foot bike lanes, and 8-foot wide sidewalks. The corridor will also include lighting, landscaping, stormwater, and utilities such as water, sewer, electric, gas, and telecom.
CHW was selected by the City of Alachua to provide professional services for the first phase of the San Felasco Parkway and related utility infrastructure, including surveying, geotechnical, applicable environmental studies, civil design, and permitting, as well as construction engineering inspection services.
