As Principal and Senior Director, Laurie will continue to lead CHW’s Landscape Architecture department, leveraging her passion and expertise to enrich the organization’s senior leadership. With a remarkable 17-year career that includes expansive campus-wide master planning, community place-making, and commercial and multi-family residential ventures, Laurie’s work has profoundly shaped the landscape of the Southeastern U.S. Her community-centric approach synergizes her expertise in site design, project management, and consensus building.
Laurie’s elevation to Principal and Senior Director comes as a part of CHW’s strategic growth plan and will be instrumental in supporting the future goals of the organization. This key move underlines the company’s commitment to recognize the immense talent within the organization and aligns with CHW’s 2025 Vision and 35-year Anniversary Celebration.

As President of the American Society of Landscape Architects Florida Chapter, Laurie leads many local, state, and national advisory boards. Her passion for mentoring students and emerging professionals, and championing women in design and construction fields, embodies her commitment for making a difference. In recognition of her exceptional talent, contributions and impact, Laurie was recently honored as one of the University of Florida’s 2023 40 Gator Under 40 class of honorees. This accolade is bestowed upon outstanding young alumni whose achievements positively impact the Gator Nation, the communities they serve, and their respective professions.
